For the past fifteen years she has worked as an educator and advocate in the battered women's movement, teaching and working for social change. In her younger years, she was a hard working musician, singer and song writer, who performed on stages from New York to Europe. Lois’ formal education, however, was in religious philosophy at Temple University.

Her religion background has taught her the similarities and differences in cultural traditions. Her performance experience gives her the voice and confidence to perform your ceremony in a meaningful and clear way. And her work as an advocate has taught her to listen and not judge, and reinforced her belief in peace and justice. She is a non-denominational minister.

Lois says: “Becoming a Celebrant has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I honor all philosophies, beliefs and traditions - secular, spiritual, religious and interfaith. I will create a unique ceremony that will respect and reflect your values, style and your life.”

Lois lives in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania with her husband and three springer spaniels.
