Karen Mussa
Wedding Celebrant
New York
Karen hopes to create a tapestry of love throughout the world by helping couples to build ceremonies that truly represent their unique love story. In addition to her work with the International College of Celebrancy, Karen has studied acting at HB Studios in New York City and has received her B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University in Hampton Virginia and feels that with her background in drama and psychology, she is able to use all three of these disciplines to help her to express the loving, supportive nature that she brings to the most important time in a couples life together.

Karen is interested in bringing couples of different faiths together to celebrate their differences, through ceremony, which can be an enriching experience for the community. Incorporating various rituals and cultural symbols in ceremony, Karen hopes to help couples demonstrate the beauty of this gift of diversity that is so special about this time in the history of our world.

Karen is very excited about working with the Celebrant USA Foundation and is available for weddings, commitment and coming of age ceremonies. In addition to her Celebrancy work, Karen works in Corporate Real Estate in Manhattan, New York. Karen and her husband Mussa make their home in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn.
